Research Interests: Light field manipulation, quantum optics and quantum information; orbital angular momentum, vector light fields, nonlinear optics
Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Physics, Nanjing University and PhD from the School of Physics, Nankai University. He worked successively as a postdoctoral researcher, Special Associate Researcher and Special Researcher at the Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale, University of Science and Technology of China, before joining the School of Physics, Nanjing University.He has long engaged in systematic research on orbital angular momentum manipulation and realized the transition from classical light manipulation to photonic quantum manipulation. He has published more than 30 SCI papers, including 1 in Nature and 11 in Physical Review Letters, with over 2000 SCI citations. He was awarded the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, the First Prize of the 10th Rao Yutai Fundamental Optics Award from the Chinese Optical Society, and serves as a youth editorial board member of Chinese Laser Press.
