On October 29, 2025, accompanied by Gu Haiming, Chairman of the Suzhou High - tech Zone Association for Science and Technology, a delegation from the Guangzhou Association for Science and Technology visited Shishan Laboratory for a tour and investigation. The purpose of this investigation is to gain an in-depth understanding of the latest advancements in quantum technology and lay a foundation for promoting the coordinated development of quantum technology in the Guangdong- Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Professor Yu Yang, Director of Shishan Laboratory, extended a warm welcome to the visiting research group.

Professor Yu Yang gave the research group a detailed introduction to the laboratory's basic information, research directions, key technological breakthroughs in the field of quantum technology, as well as the application prospects of these technologies in biomedicine, artificial intelligence and other fields. He also displayed the laboratory's advanced equipment and technological platforms on site.

The research group successively visited the laboratory's research platforms, achievement exhibition hall and experimental area, observed the operation of core equipment such as the high-precision quantum chip testing system at close range, and learned in detail about issues including the progress of research projects, the training of young talents, and the industry-university-research collaboration model.

Chairman Gu Haiming of the High-tech Zone Association for Science and Technology and Professor Yu Yang, Director of Shishan Laboratory, jointly stated that this investigation has opened up an important channel for the laboratory to connect with innovation resources in the Greater Bay Area. In the future, taking this exchange as an opportunity, they will deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to jointly promote quantum technology from basic research to application implementation.
