On the morning of November 26, 2025, a delegation led by Liu Chen and Tang Chuanyang, deputy directors of the Science and Technology Committee of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), conducted an investigation at Shishan Quantum Computation and Quantum Detection Laboratory (Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Quantum Information Science and Technology). The delegation conducted on-site inspections of the laboratory's scientific research breakthroughs, platform construction, and industrial transformation progress in the quantum technology field, aiming to provide insights and suggestions for the high-quality development of Jiangsu's quantum industry.

Professor Yu Yang, Director of Shishan Laboratory, together with laboratory members, extended a warm welcome to the delegation.

Professor Yu Yang accompanied the visit and gave explanations throughout, providing the delegation with a detailed introduction to the laboratory's basic construction, while reporting on the team's scientific research progress in quantum science, as well as the laboratory's development dynamics and future plans in the industrialization of quantum technology.

The delegation successively visited the experimental platform of the Superconducting Quantum Devices Research Group and the quantum chip R&D and testing area, gaining an in-depth understanding of the laboratory's technological breakthroughs in three core research directions: quantum chips, quantum computing, and quantum detection.

Members of the delegation frequently stopped to communicate, conducted in-depth discussions with Professor Yu Yang on issues such as technical application scenarios and difficulties in industrial transformation, and affirmed the laboratory's development philosophy of supporting industrial innovation with basic research and guiding scientific research directions with industrial needs.

This investigation by the Provincial CPPCC was accompanied by relevant leaders of Suzhou CPPCC. It is not only a review of the laboratory's phased achievements but also a sincere expectation for the development of Jiangsu's quantum industry. In the future, Shishan Quantum Laboratory will take this investigation as an opportunity to continuously deepen collaborative cooperation with universities, enterprises, and the government, accelerate the construction of a distributed quantum computing platform, and contribute more to Jiangsu's efforts to build a national highland for the quantum technology industry and seize the initiative in global quantum field competition.
