Research Interests: Single crystal growth, physical property characterization and neutron spectroscopy of correlated systems including high-temperature superconductors, quantum magnets and topological quantum materials


Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, School of Physics, Nanjing University, Recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and Deputy Director of the National Laboratory of Solid State Microstructures.Professor Wen has published more than 150 academic papers in relevant fields, including journals such as Science, Nature and its sister journals, Physical Review Letters and Physical Review X, with total citations exceeding 8000. Since 2017, he has published 2 papers in Nature Physics, 6 papers in Physical Review Letters, 5 papers in Nature Communications and 1 paper in Physical Review X as corresponding or co-corresponding author.Major honors received in recent years: National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2022); Jiangsu Youth Science and Technology Award & Jiangsu Outstanding Young Physicist Award (2020); National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars & Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund (2018); Jiangsu Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Talent (2014); New Century Excellent Talent of the Ministry of Education & Jiangsu Distinguished Professor (2013); Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad (2010).He has presided over more than 10 national and provincial research projects including the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. Many of his supervised students have won honors such as Baosteel Outstanding Student Special Prize, Baosteel Outstanding Student Award, Merit Student of Jiangsu Province, Excellent Student Leader of Jiangsu Province, Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Nanjing University and Outstanding Graduate of Nanjing University.
