Research Interests: Generation, manipulation and detection of nonclassical optical states and their applications in imaging, communication, precision measurement and quantum simulation
Professor, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Nanjing University. He has been selected for the Young Program of National Overseas High-level Talents and appointed as Yangtze River Distinguished Professor under the Ministry of Education Yangtze River Scholar Program. He has presided over the National Science and Technology Major Project, Frontier Leading Program and Key Program funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.His long-term research focuses on quantum optics and quantum information technology, mainly covering the generation, manipulation and detection of nonclassical optical states as well as their applications in imaging, communication, precision measurement and quantum simulation. He has published more than 80 papers in journals including Science, Nature Photonics and Physical Review Letters.
